A shared reference improves through samples, corrections, and protocol knowledge.
We want participation to produce evidence people can review and reproduce. Known software samples are as valuable as unknown observations, and careful corrections matter as much as new records.
Ways to help
- Document samples from known software versions and platforms.
- Improve uncertain labels or explain conflicting observations.
- Contribute protocol knowledge, test vectors, or converters.
- Make capture and format documentation easier to follow.
Review and attribution
The planned review checks collection context, scheme revision, privacy, source permission, and evidence behind labels. Accepted contributions should carry the contributor's chosen attribution. Verification of a record does not make every software label certain.
Corrections and withdrawals need a documented path and a visible revision history. We will not rank contributors by raw upload volume.
